BioChain's FFPE multiple tissue panels from the same type of tumors are designed for rapidly screening expression of tumor specific genes or proteins. Tumor tissue sections with the same tissue type collected from three different donors are arrayed along with a corresponding normal control tissue section on positively charged glass slides. Documentation of tissues' clinical histories may be available upon request. Human placenta tissue section is included in each panel as an interpanel control for comparison between different tissue panels.

The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged LGR4 and EA-tagged β-Arrestin-2. Activation of LGR4 stimulates the recruitment of β-Arrestin-2 and produces EFC signal. This cell line enables assessment of ligand (e.g. PAF) based activation of PTAFR GPCR activity via detection of increasing levels of intracellular calcium. The included cell line overexpresses PTAFR alongside endogenous high levels of the promiscuous G protein, Gα15, coupling the receptor to the calcium signaling pathway. Upon activation of PTAFR, the resulting calcium activity can be fluorescently assayed. This stable modified cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells. BioChain's formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue section line encompasses a large selection of tissue sections which are suitable for immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization assays. The tissue sections are approximately 5 um thick. Each slide contains tissue from single human diseased sample. Documentation of tissues' clinical histories may be available upon request. For those customers who want to perform FFPE DNA and RNA isolation, BioChain can provide tissue section slices in tubes instead of mounting them on glass slides.
